Transition

so we meet again,
It's been a long time since i posted about our riveting life, i know most all of you have been in desperate need of some update on our livelihood. nothing too fascinating is lingering around these neck of our woods; we've completed a long, grueling semester and are we happy it's past us. Trevor was a champ and did about 90% of my ruthless InDesign class, that made me crazy.

We are just madly in love over here and loving each step of the way we go. It's been a learning curve of marriage for the both of us but as the cliche goes "i wouldn't trade it for anything". So since October we've been really boring and just dedicated every waking hour devoted to keeping ourselves alive / working / getting that "marketable education" (-Gramps).

With some really fun stops inbetween our regular days. So let me start and look at my pictures for the timeline of everything. (thank goodness Apple puts time stamps on pictures, i really don't know where i'd be without that).

End of October
I managed to lock us out of car / house, what can i say, it's a gift. We also got super festive with our costume's this year. This year we just dressed as our usual selves which may incur to some as "hipsters" hah whatev's i'll reject that with glad tidings that i secretly agree with but wont openly agree because who does that?

November
Some football here and some family thrown in there with some sunrises on the way. Trevor found inspiration in a Warren Buffet poster in Jimmy Johns.

Mark played this game called Resistance Avalon (total nerd game) on a vaca he took and introduced it to the family. It's like mafia but with much nerdier players name of which i can't quite remember) but i recommend it, really brings out the best in people, really get to know their many faces of lying.

my dad's a gem.

December

A perfect parking job done by the one and only Trevor. Some basketball (i'm always up for a game). Finals week is over! and we had our first Christmas.

Yes, Trevor can be "that guy" that parks the car in a horrific manor that makes you want to key his car. In his defense there was one before him that made him park like so...

As soon as we got home from thanksgiving we found a place in the Avenues, and we are thrilled to be living here. We taught our last sunbeams class and we will miss that ward and our first place together but life moves on and the memories stay.

some simple Christmas gifts

Let me just talk about these for a minute. Sticky buns are a staple to Christmas in the Moffat family along with cider. Basically these are butterscotch / caramel / nuts and cherry covered happiness. A comfort food really, and loaded with sugar and calories that will go straight to the well cared for muffin top and tummy.

We figured out we are not the couple that will secretly buy gifts and wrap them all perfectly and then give them to each other with a cheesy grin. We went shopping together, casually told each other what we wanted, for example:

"ohh, i really love this bag!" *wink wink* or "snap, this sweater compliments my eyes" *cough cough*

then myself or Trevor will walk away and we will make the necessary purchases it and we fake the cause of surprise and all is well. It works out quite well for us. Some other gifts made the cut such as some really nice gifts from the in law's some place mats, a complimenting scarf, much needed slippers for Trevor, and a special thanks to Jen for the great gifts! (that pillow though hah)
We had the Casey's over for Christmas because I couldn't weasel a few days off to venture to California but it turned out great. We had a Moffat style dinner (aka standard mormon dinner according to Trevor's sister Jen hah) thrown in with some homemade ravioli's per the Casey tradition and it was great, we strolled around Temple Square and just hung out.  It was great, it was nice having them over to see where are current stomping grounds are.

As 2014 comes to a close, i'm really excited for 2015
