A little gratitude

Well hello,

I thought I'd show some TLC to my little blog, and update.  As of lately, life is going beyond well for Trevor and I, and I am so grateful for the tender mercies that we have seen in this past month. We have had a pretty mellow and steady month for us and as the {not so stressful} school year presses onward, we are wrapping it up with much change coming forth in the next few weeks.

I will start a new job at the U of U hospital in the next week and a half, and I am quite excited for that.  We had a fellow friend offer up the job to us and let us know the low down of it all and to say the least we are eternally grateful for good Samaritans. So, it's in the Endoscopy center, and it's essentially a "call center" where I will work with patients in making appointments and such. I am yet to learn more about it since it's not something I had originally in mind to do, but it's a good step in the direction I am making for myself and am nervous/ anxious/ eager to start working full-time {something out of the norm for me}.  But I like learning new things and acquiring skills that I can take with me to the next step in my life, whatever it may be.  I've never done this type of work but I know it will be well worth it for Trevor and I.

Trevor is starting at the U in T-minus 25 days. Oh my, I think I am more nervous for him than he is for himself.  I mean he's going into Mechanical Engineering where it requires more math than my little brain could handle and I think that's what freaking me out.  I know he can do it, he goes through school likes it's a breeze {currently} and he's great at math, so now that I've written it out I think I can relax. But it's a long, long, long, educational journey we are just embarking on and so it goes and he will do great.

So as life goes on, Trevor and I have been recruited into Sunbeams in our ward and for three little munchkins all with very different personalities it's VBC {visual birth control} for us. They're great kids though, so fun and energetic about life, they are a hoot. They bring such a spirit with them to sharing time, our first Sunday the feel was very much different than RS or Sunday School, it's definite that our Heavenly Father loves those little ones.

Trevor and I went to a RSL game, and I was a bit, well I've been a bit hesitant about soccer, it's not like basketball where there's a little more- points and excitement. But yesterday was good, I learned more about soccer and there were some good plays that happened and it was exciting. So all in all, I will give soccer the benefit of the doubt.  I do love sporting events it brings back the memories of coloring on benches in the HS gym and running onto the court. ;).

We also went to Lehi and watched Kate's little rascals and watched Kate and Mark do their crossfit thang. Seriously though, it's exciting and I feel like such a scrawny thing compared to my sister {yes, yes we have the same genetic make-up} but I don't think I could do what she does, she's got some serious muscles going on.

Over the past few months, life has been swell for us love birds.  We are loving every day, challenge, and adventure of our life together; as we will with many more to come.

It turned out quite nicely {thanks Jake}

We had a lot of fun this weekend.  We were able to spend the fourth with Paige and Jacob and her family.  Saw the fireworks up in Bountiful.

Then on Saturday, as my birthday celebration we headed up to Park City to Olympic Park and did the Zip line (that Trevor was way nervous about the way up, quite funny actually).  Then we strolled around Park City and had some delicious froyo, and shopped a little at the J. Crew Factory and finished the day off with some fish taco's from Rubio's and lounged.

Trevor is seriously the sweetest, he treats me so well and insisted (literally shoving me out of the kitchen) and made dinner and a cake all by himself, it turned out quite delicious, but he is a good cook so ti's a win win for me.

It was a good birthday, low-key, simple, just how I like it.
